Sunday Preview - Isaiah 2-5

May 1, 2025    Tom Zimbelman

This Sunday, we open Isaiah 2–5 and witness both the stunning beauty of God’s future Kingdom and the sobering reality of a world that rejects Him. Through Isaiah’s prophetic vision, we’ll see Christ reigning from Zion, ushering in peace, justice, and glory — and yet we’ll also see Judah’s fall into idolatry, pride, and corruption. What more could God have done for His people? And how often do we, like them, trust in what we’ve built instead of the One who built us?

God’s Word calls us to sever from what’s fading and stand firm in what’s eternal. This is a call to repentance, renewal, and fruitfulness. There is hope — for the remnant, for the righteous, for you.

Join us at Calvary Chapel Waterford this Sunday at 10 a.m. as we draw near to the summit of God’s majesty and find shelter in His glory.
