This Sunday - June 14, 2026 - at Calvary Chapel Waterford

Jun 12, 2026

This Sunday at Calvary Chapel Waterford, we'll continue our study through 1 Corinthians and tackle a question that seems ancient but is surprisingly relevant: How should Christians use their freedom?

In 1 Corinthians 8, Paul addresses the issue of meat sacrificed to idols, but his concern goes far beyond food. He's teaching us how Christian knowledge, Christian liberty, and Christian love must work together.

We'll examine the difference between knowledge that puffs up and love that builds up, why there is only one true God despite a world full of competing claims, and how mature believers should think about the spiritual well-being of others. Most importantly, we'll see how Christ calls us to willingly limit our freedoms when doing so helps a brother or sister walk faithfully with Him.

Join us Sunday as we learn what it means to live with both freedom and responsibility in Christ.
